Tomas Claudio Colleges together with business startup GritXL recently conducted a career talk for TCC graduating students. GritXL is in fact an innovation hub and knowledge process outsources services provider, primarily for the healthcare information management industry.
The two organizations just conducted their Career Talk 2019: Forging Ahead to Greater Heights last March 25. The event’s goal was to educate students about the IT-BPM and healthcare industries. Also, the event aimed to inform graduates how it needs fresh, young minds and how it can give back to them as well.
The events speakers were hence all experts in their fields, generously sharing their business insights and acumen to the audience.

Moreover, the speakers aimed to inspire the graduates with words of wisdom and encouragement, as they are prepare to face the real world.
Among their insights was on the global competitiveness index, where students learned about different skills and attitudes they should possess at work. They also learned about the benefits and impacts of Health Information Management (HIM) careers, and how the industry can help them grow and flourish.
Most importantly, students learned that Morong and Eastern Rizal can be a talent magnet for IT-BPM companies.
Also, the speakers shared to them the best mindset for careers and things to avoid, noting mistakes they made back when they were just like students — as dreamy-eyed, fresh graduates about to take on the world.
To end the career fair, speakers left inspiring messages that were sure to leave a mark not only in the students’ minds but also tug some strings in their hearts, giving them courage and motivation to face whatever the future holds for them.
“We only grow, when we learn,” Ms. Orcales of TDS Global Solutions specifically said. “Your future is up to you, then you decide on what kind of future that would be.”
