The country’s most prestigious information communications technology awards event has identified the best ICT and business outsourcing companies.
With 15 award categories, the awards organizers named the winners of the 12th International ICT Awards 2018 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom on March 22.
The top two awards went to Cognizant for overall best ICT company of the year, while VXI was best employer.
Cognizant also won as best service provider of health information management systems, and as best C-Suite team of the year.
Meanwhile, VXI won as most innovative company, plus best contact center and business process outsourcing (BPO) company.
iQor was the best first-time nominated company, and best company outside Metro Manila.
American Express international was global in-house center of 2018. WNS, meanwhile, was the finance and accounting services company.
Most of the winners have been clients and partners of TeleDevelopment Services, which provides support services to IT and business outsourcing companies.
It has spent decades providing outsourcing solutions, consulting services, training and development programs.
Moreover, it provides executive search and recruitment, and managed services for crucial departments of BPM operations.
During the awards, Affinity Express was best Filipino-owned ICT company, while B&M Global as best IT and software development company.
American Express won as best Global In-House Center (GIC) company, while WNS Global was best service provider for finance and accounting.
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (CanCham) first launched the International ICT Awards in 2007.
This was in close cooperation with the then Business Process Association of the Philippines (BPAP), now the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (now IBPAP).
The award categories have increased in number, adjusted to reflect growth and changes in the industry.
