More than 2,000 students joined the inaugural career fair for the information technology and business process management industry.
Coming from various universities, the students participated in the IT-BPM Industry Awareness Fair: IT Starts Here on November 5.
The career fair was especially held at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura, in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.

Specifically, the career fair functioned as a kickoff to the upcoming International Innovation Summit 2018 in Shangri-La Fort in Taguig BGC.
“Human+Tech: Philippines’ Capitalizing on Digital Disruption” will therefore be the theme for IIS 2018 on November 12-13.
In particular, the presenters encouraged upcoming graduates to focus on improving teamwork and communications skills.
As they apply for jobs, graduates with good comm skills will be successful chiefly in a customer service-oriented Philippines.
Presenters also encouraged the students to be boardroom-ready and English-proficient for their future work.
Moreover, the participants learned about the career journeys of various industry association members.
Most importantly, the students learned about the numerous career opportunities in the IT, contact center and healthcare sectors, among others.
Meanwhile, WeRK.ph and TeleDevelopment participated in the booth exhibit, focusing on digital recruitment marketing and healthcare information management.
